Brandy’s professional journey to YouthBiz began in 1999 when she began volunteering at a downtown youth drop in center as a business coach. Within a year, she was leading a youth entrepreneurship program that provided business skill development, access to markets and critical start-up financing for young business owners ages 14-24.
Today, equipped with a continuum of expertise in cross-sector management and collaboration building, youth enterprise and financial education programming, and a strong record of financial oversight and revenue generation, Brandy is leading YouthBiz in its next stages of expansion.
In preparation for the position of Executive Director, Brandy previously served as Director of Operations and Finance at Donelson Ciancio & Goodwin P.C., Chief Operating Officer at Denver Venture School, Training & Enterprise Specialist at Making Cents International, and Deputy Director at Micro Business Development Corporation.
She has been named one of Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 (2007), was a member of the Downtown Denver Partnership’s Leadership Program (2009), served on the planning committee for the Friends of Micro Credit Denver Conference (2007-2008) and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming.
